Is it worth upgrading PrestaShop 1.6 or 1.7?
Yes. Older versions no longer get security fixes and run worse and worse on the newer PHP versions that hosting providers require. An upgrade also means a faster store and compatibility with new modules.
How much does a PrestaShop upgrade cost?
The price depends on your store version, the number of modules and the theme. After a short audit we give you a fixed price and deadline that do not change during the work.
Will I lose products, customers or orders?
No. Before the upgrade we make a full copy of the files and database, and all the work is done on a development copy. Data is moved and checked before the store is switched over.
What happens to modules and the theme after the upgrade?
We check every module and the theme. Compatible ones are updated; those that do not work in the new version are replaced with equivalents or rewritten.
Which PHP version do PrestaShop 8 and 9 require?
PrestaShop 8 runs on PHP 7.2 to 8.1, and PrestaShop 9 requires PHP 8.1 or newer. During the upgrade we also adjust the server settings.
